Honors Cords and Tassel Information

The registrar's office will notify students regarding their honors cords, and they will be available for pick up beginning Tuesday May 13th in our office.

Tassels can be purchased from the bookstore, and there will be a very limited number available in the registrar's office on commencement Sunday until 10:00 a.m. A limited number will also be available at the entryway to the stadium for students who have lost theirs. Please note: these tassels probably will not match the school's tassel color.

Academic attire may be purchased through the Ithaca College bookstore.

Caps, gowns, and/or hoods may be picked up at the Bookstore buyback window:

Wednesday-Saturday, May 14-17
10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Sunday, May 18
7:30-9:00 a.m.

The cost of academic cap, tassel, and gown for bachelor's or master's degree candidates is $37.50 or $41, respectively. The cost of the master's hood is $37. The cost of the DPT unit is $190. Students may keep regalia.

In the event your academic regalia should get wet, the dyes may run and stain clothing. Please take this into consideration in deciding what to wear underneath your regalia. If Commencement is held indoors, graduates must bring their academic regalia to gain admission.
