Note: ITS does not provide support for personally owned computer equipment. If you experience hardware or software problems with a personally owned computer you should contact the manufacturer or a local computer dealer for assistance. Our list of other useful links may be helpful.

General Computing and Telephone Assistance
We're your first resource for the questions you have about campus computing services or the telephone system at Ithaca College.

Residence Hall Network Assistance
See the ResNet Page

Password Changes
Forgot your password? The Helpdesk can reset it for you. Passwords MUST be changed in person at the Helpdesk and you MUST bring your ID when requesting a password change.

System Status Line
The System Status Line is a telephone menu option of the Helpdesk. If you suspect that there is a system or network problem, call 4-3282 and choose option #1. You'll hear a recorded message giving information about current system problems or outages. If no problems are indicated, you'll have the option to speak with a Helpdesk consultant for further assistance.

Helpdesk-Alert Mailing List
The Helpdesk-Alert mailing list is a moderated Majordomo list used to notify interested members of the IC Community of planned computer system or network outages, as well as unplanned problems of a serious or long-term nature. To subscribe to this list, enter your Ithaca College e-mail address on the Helpdesk home page.

Web System Status
The Computing home page has a System Notices section to keep the IC Community informed of both scheduled downtimes and unplanned system problems.
