Student Computer Repair Center

The Student Computer Repair Center (SCRC), located in Friends 110, offers superior on campus computer advice, support and repair service to students. The SCRC is staffed with trained and certified technicians familiar with the unique problems students face with their computers.

The SCRC provides technical support for the School of Communications Laptop Program. For more information regarding the Laptop Program, including an online ordering guide and a list of frequently asked questions, please visit the Roy H. Park School of Communications Laptop Program site.

The SCRC can help with a variety of computer diagnostic, repair and installation services. Estimates will be given before any repairs are performed. All repairs will be charged to your bursar's bill.

1. Ithaca College, the SCRC and its employees are not responsible for data loss, data corruption or the inability to access files.
2. It is the students’ responsibility to back up any data, software, or files stored on their computer or removable media, prior to receiving service from the SCRC.
3. The SCRC reserves the right to decline any service request.
4. Once a service has been performed by the SCRC, service charges will be billed directly to the student’s bursar account.
5. SCRC labor charges are non-refundable.
6. All labor performed by the SCRC has a fourteen day limited in-house warranty. Warranty excludes infection removal service.
7. The SCRC is not responsible for computers or accessories left thirty days after the completion of service.
8. Inappropriate material that violates state or federal law will be turned over to campus police.
9. Students under eighteen years of age require permission from a parent or guardian to receive service from the SCRC.
10. The SCRC reserves the right to alter the terms of service, rates and promotions without prior notice.
