ANALYSIS OF SPEECH MOVEMENTS BY PHASE

(Developed by Douglas E. Cross, 1996)

Instructions: The following items are used to rate speech movement patterns relative to the sequence of movement (ph ases). Rate each behavior useing a five (5) point scale. A rating of 3 indicates "typical" pattaerns observed in normal speakers in non-stressfull speaking conditions. Ratings of 1 and 5 represent extreme levels of the behavior with 1 being extremely low and 5 being extremely high. The features of each behavior are shown in the parenthesis.
