CSCRE's Discussion Series "Prison the Machine: Race, Torture, and the State" started successfully on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Dr. Tanya Saunders, Assistant Provost, and Dean of Interdisciplinary and International Studies began with a beautiful welcome address to describe the context of the series.
