Community Service Committee |
|
The Ithaca College Community Service Committee is responsible for providing leadership development opportunities that meet the needs of the college community through volunteerism while in turn stimulating the intellectual, social, and civic development of the college. The goals of our committee are to educate students, faculty, and staff to become advocates for service, increase awareness of civic responsibility, strengthen relationships between students and their communities, and cultivate relationships with faculty and staff members. This committee will be responsible for planning such programs as the Family Carnival, Share the Warmth, Celebration of Service, community service awards and recognition programs, campus-wide collaboration on blood drives, and national programs such as Make a Difference Day.
This committee is sponsored through the office of Student Affairs and Campus Life and is open to any faculty, student, or staff member. The committee meets Wednesdays at 2pm during the academic year only
