 Questions:
1) You're driving on the road and you get a flat tire! You take all the
nuts off of the flat tire in order to change it, but in your haste to get
out the spare tire, you lose all the nuts! How can you still change the
tire and make it to your destination on time?
2) If your class starts at 11 and you need an hour to get ready, but you
want to sleep as long as possible and your first alarm is set for 9, how
many times can you hit the snooze button if it is a 9 minute snooze?

 You are taking a trip
from Ithaca to Folrida for spring break. You and a couple of freinds are
driving a car that gets 20 miles to the gallon.  If a full tank of gas is
20 gallons, and the distance you are traveling is 398 miles. A)Calculate
the amount of gas that you will need in order to drive there. B)Then
calculate the amount of gas money that you will need when a gallon of gas
is $1.80.

  what are all the lines on a
ruler?
i use measurements all the time but I still don't know exactly what the
lines stand for.... and how to add, subtract them. like 3 3/8... what is
half of that???   --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

QUESTION: If there are 2 quarts of apple juice, and 14 people in the
class, how much juice can each person drink so that everyone has the same
amount?
