yesterday in class we used the
seelogo program to make the spiral of life. i thought it was
really fun
and interesting to do and see what one small difference in the numbers
made. i really liked seeing the different colors and how it spiraled
around in a circle.

I really enjoyed using SeeLogo
in class today, 1/31. Now that I understand how to create spirals
with
it, I look forward to designing with it in the math art group this
semester.

Say:
I enjoyed using the See Logo program and would like to explore it a
little more I am interested in the possiblity of creating different
things. We also are interested in getting back into groups and
working
on our projects. We both have been collecting ideas and thoughts
that we
would like to share with our groups in terms of our projects.

Today we all got to
experiment with the Spiral of Life. It was a really cool experience.
Just
by putting in a few lines, with a few commands, an amazing design is
formed. The one I created looked like there were six planet earths
because i used green and blue.

I would like to continue
progress on the spiral of life. I think the potential to learn
and
discover things for ourselves is great. This is experiential
learning
which I respond to best.

I think we should have more time working in our groups

i found this lesson
entertaining. i would be interested in learning more patterns/designs.
today i made five spirals that worked out well. i also made others
that
were not so pretty, but i enjoyed the way we spent class today

it was very interesting
to do the spiral of life activity. changing the numbers and seeing
what
happened was pretty exciting. i look forward to using SeeLogo some
more
for similar activities.
Response by J Fisher
I'd like to see more of
this kind of work. I want to work in the Math Art group doing this
kind
of thing so I'd like to see more forms available on this program.
Response by Chris Cucci
SeeLogo was pretty fun
today. I felt that while making the spiral of life on the computer,
I
was actually witnessing what my spiral of life is going to be for my
future. At first, it kept curving to the right, and I wasn't
very
excited about my life. But... once I fixed the commands I was putting
into the program, I became more optimistic about how my life is going
to
turn out. Awesome class!
