Ithaca College has hosted an energy conference for the past 4 years at Ithaca College and invited area businesses to attend. Last year the conference was expanded to a full day of energy education with multiple tracks. We were given some great feedback on the event and made some exciting changes for this year’s conference. Educational Energy Day is a regional event that we expect to attract over 300 attendees, from the energy, educational, health care, hospitality, manufacturing, architect and engineering, government, agri-business and transportation industries.
The conference will be held on Monday, October 1st from 8:00am to 5:00pm in our Campus Center. The show is designed to provide attendees with opportunities to learn about the latest in challenges to the energy industry, operational best practices, and vendor products and services. Our agenda is filled with speakers from well recognized industry leaders including: Corning Incorporated, Honeywell, Vermont Law School, Staples, Rochester Institute of Technology, Corning Natural Gas and more.
The conference will be held on the second floor of our Campus Center in the Emerson Suites and North Lounge, plus 3 conference rooms for the seminars. Emerson Suites is made up of 3 large conference rooms, the last two, Suite B and C will be the main Exhibit Hall. Suite A will host the Platinum Sponsor seminars. Concurrent seminars will be taking place in Clarke and Klingenstein Lounges.
