STEPHANIE RAABE

Started working for CC&ES:  December 2009

Job Title:  Lead Event & Marketing Coordinator

Skills you've learned while working at CC&ES:  "The variety and depth of skills I've learned while working here at CC&ES is endless. The most obvious ones being how to plan, manage, and market events but also how to manage my time efficiently, how to provide excellent customer service, how to manage and lead a team, and I think most importantly is learning to deal with change. Change is always constant and be able to manage change is a critical skill in the world of event planning."

Best part about working for CC&ES:  "It is truly difficult to choose just one part about working for CC&ES...However if I had to choose I would say the culture and the people are by far what makes this experience so rewarding. The culture and people of CC&ES allows for students, especially EMC's, to get real life experience planning events and allows us to apply the concepts and principles we learn within our Communication Management and Design curriculum. It has been one of the most rewarding opportunities I have had during my four years here at Ithaca College."

One crazy fact about Stephanie:  "I have an unhealthy obsession with Red Velvet desserts. I like to think of myself as a Red Velvetier!"
