This interface stimulates a muscle preparation and records the response.
The magnitude of the stimulus can be set with the voltage control.
The top trace records the response of the transducer connected to the muscle
(force or displacement). The bottom trace is the rate of change of
the top trace (calculated by the computer). Thus, with a displacement
transducer, the bottom trace displays velocity. When one pushes the
"calculate delta" button, the computer will show the difference between
x-values and y-values of the points marked by the vertical black lines.
