Research
| Laboratory exercises in your classes teach you the basic skills of research. Outside the classroom, students are encouraged to take part in independent research projects. Juniors are required to spend at least one semester doing independent research in a lab. Science majors in the teaching option have the opportunity to design labs, based on actual research, for use in middle and high school classes. |
