Serious Games conference This conference looks at the non-entertainment uses of computer games. There are panels on using games for education and training, task simulation, and game development.

Here are some other photos of the conference. One reception was sponsored by America's Army (the video game, not the actual army it turned out). They had lots of stations set up to try out different input devices. Participants could practice driving robots, shooting rifles and firing TOW missiles. They are using the games and the various input devices to train soldiers in battlefield skills but also in leadersip and team management skills.
