I really enjoyed our class today. Making the pizzas was fun and it made
me think about percentages and fractions and other things that have been
hiding out in the back of my brain gathering dust. Good job

 I thought today's class 1/31
was really cool. it was fun to learn percentages in that way. i usually
hated % stuff in my old math classes but coach really makes it fun. the
only thing is i got really hungry when i was thinking about the pizzas.

 I thoroughly enjoyed
working with the pizza problem today...although my attempt was
unsuccessful due to computer issues. It was definitely an interesting
experience, and I am looking forward to more classes with this new
improved format.

 I thought using
SeeLogo during class today was an interesting and fun change of pace.
Though I
enjoyed Dani's enthusiasm (as always) I hope we spend more time on our
group work and other
activities throughout the two other classes this week.

 Last class was very
interesting. People were expressing their opinions and thats what
learning is about. Some people say that they want to learn the
traditional way and others dont. I really dont care just as long as we do
something.

 I think todays class
was very fun, i thought it was a very cool way to get the whole class
involved and satisfy the girl who said she wanted to learn percents, and
now she has the tools to do so.  Also i thought it was a good idea to
work with partners that way, we get to learn more about eachother!

 I like mixing the
tradtional way of teaching math with Dani's method. I feel that I need
the traditional way because in future math courses I will need to use it.
However, Dani's way is interesting and beneficial,also. Today's lesson on
fractions was a good start but seemed a little too simplistic. I'm ok at
fractions but there are other areas that I weaker at and will want to
review in the same type of way as the fraction lesson. As for Dani's
method, I have started a math log. I began it a week or so ago and it has
developed into more of a journal/diary. I like having a place to write
down my feelings about the day's events and it has become a way for me to
reflect on the day.

 I think that
Dani's class is a new and wonderful way to learn math. The traditional
way of learning has really never worked that well for me and if dani's
method works i am willing to try it. I think that if we mix the two
together it will make everyone in the class happy. I also enjoyed todays
class very much making the pizzas on the computer was great.  I never new
how to do this.

 I really enjoyed today's
class.  I like the process of working together with Dani first and then
attempting the problems on our own.

 today I learned how to
use SeeLogo while figuring out word problems, I always feel thing are
easier when I can see them. I believe that in public school snow
computers will be the way to teach math in the classroom. Computer
science and math with come together. Dani would like that, computers and
math unifying.
