Dome of the Rock, on the Temple Mount, viewed from the Jewish Quarter. I was standing on
a building in the Jewish Quarter that was fairly high up. Below the Dome of the Rock, to the right,
is the large square before the Kotel (Western Wall of the Temple Mount), which belongs
to the Jewish Quarter.
To the left of the golden Dome is a minaret.
Laundry hanging at a house belonging to a Palestinian family, right next to the Jewish Quarter.
In the Old City of Jerusalem, the Muslim, Christian, Jewish, and Armenian Quarters are built
right next to each other, so it is easy to pass from one to the other.
Yeshiva boys playing volleyball in the Jewish Quarter. This courtyard overlooks the
Palestinian house portrayed in the above photograph.
