The written component of the term project will consist of approximately 15-20 double-spaced pages, excluding tables, illustrations, appendices, and bibliography. It is expected that each group member will read and analyze at least 6 "quality" references to be incorporated into the paper. It is assumed that you will use proper grammar, correct spelling and an appropriate term paper style (You can use the following structural guide if you wish).
Include the objectives of the study, introduce the product and the country, and other appropriate material.
Describe the research process. How are you going to achieve the objectives listed above? What are the main areas to be covered? Why?
Include a discussion of relevant literature on the country and product that you have selected. This section should include a coverage of the marketing environment (economic, cultural, political, legal, etc.), an analysis of the industry that you want to compete in and an analysis of trade statistics. This part can be organized in several sub-sections.
Include the method selected for market entry. Discuss the advantages and the disadvantages of this method as far as your product is concerned. The rest of the section should emphasize the 4 P's of marketing (product, promotion, pricing and place). Discuss potential problems and perhaps future projections.
Include graphs, tables, ads, etc.. These should be incorporated into the text and should be used to support your arguments in the paper as well as the oral presentation.
