The Alonso Map of Tenochtitlan--This is an interactive map of the Aztec city. The European Voyages of Exploration--This site introduces the two pioneering nations of Spain and Portugal, their motivations, their actions, and the inevitable consequences of their colonization. Trails of Discovery through the Southwest--This site covers Cabeza dc Vaca's, Hernando de Soto's and Francisco Coronado's adventures through Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky, Texas, Missouri, Indiana, and Missouri Sir Francis Drake--This site includes a wide-range of topics relating to Drake's exploration of the New World by the author of an upcoming book on the topic. The Columbus Navigation Homepage--Examines the history, navigation, and landfall of this explorer; includes good material about the debates surrounding this topic.
