CONSULTING EXPERIENCE

July to August 1980: Consultant to the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in Rome, Italy. Prepared two papers for them which are entitled: (1) "Some Ideas About Generating Employment in the Agrarian Sector of the Third World Countries: A WCARRD Follow Up Study," and (2) "Analyzing Farm Survey Data on Crop Production to Assess Labor Requirements of Varieties of Crops Under Varied Farming Conditions."

November 1972: Consultant to the United Nations Economic Commission for Asia and the Far East (ECAFE). Prepared a study for them entitled "The State of Bangladesh Economy in 1972 and Its Prospects in 1973." [The U.N. agency was renamed Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, ESCAP.]

June 1972: Consultant to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank). Prepared a study for them entitled "Land Tenancy and Agricultural Taxation in Bangladesh Some Needed Reforms."
