Finance Apps Users*
The Functional Lead is responsible for ensuring that this document is necessary and that it reflects actual practice.
These tasks are performed whenever a specific value is necessary to complete a field but there are numerous possible values.
The job title Parnassus Applications User refers to the following:

1. Click on the List-of-Values button in the field you are trying to find a value for, represented by "...".
A new form appears that allows you to search for a specific value.

2. Enter text in the Find field to limit the results that will be returned in the search.
Use the "%" symbol as a wildcard. If you are searching for something specific but you only know part of the information, you can use the "%" symbol to take the place of the part that you do not know. For example, if you know you are looking for Cornell [something] Extension, try putting "corn%ext%" in the Find field. This will return anything that has "corn" in the beginning and "ext" anywhere after it.

3. Select the entry that you want.
The form will disappear and the original form you were on will reappear. The value you have chosen will be automatically input into the field.
