Rates and Services

Travel Guard Chartis is the preferred travel provider for Ithaca College. The following is the necessary information to utilize Travel Guard Chartis services.

Ticketing and Service Fees

ONLINE RESERVATIONS:

  • Domestic airline reservation_______$8.00 per ticket
  • International airline reservation____$8.00 per ticket
  • Rental car reservation____________$8.00 per reservation (without airline ticket)
  • Hotel reservation________________$8.00 per reservation (without airline ticket)  

AGENT ASSISTED RESERVATIONS:

  • Consulting fee (fee assessed only if a reservation is not secured)___$25.00 per Call/email string
  • Domestic agent assisted airline_____$35.00 per ticket
  • International agent assisted airline__$50.00 per ticket
  • Car rental (without airline ticket)___$35.00 per reservation
  • Hotel (without airline ticket) ______$35.00 per reservation

GROUP RESERVATIONS:

  • Request for proposal/quote (this charge will be applied towards the booking when booked or will be non-refundable if request is not secured)____$100.00 per group 

GROUP AIRLINE RESERVATIONS:
Definition: A group of individuals traveling to/from the same destination, traveling on the same dates/time

  • Domestic groups of 10+ passengers_____$35.00 per person
  • International groups of 10+ passengers__$50.00 per person

EXCHANGES / REFUNDS / VOIDS / CANCELLATIONS 
INCLUDES: CAR / HOTEL / AIR 

  • Domestic reservations____$35.00 per person/per Sabre locator 
  • International reservations_$50.00 per person/per Sabre locator

AFTER HOURS TRAVEL RESERVATION ASSISTANCE:

  • Assistance service______ $25.00 per call in addition to any additional service fees

ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE ON EXISTING RESERVATION:  
    (Ex. seat change, frequent flyer upgrades, etc.)  $25.00 per call

24/7 TRAVEL ASSISTANCE SERVICES:    

  • Concierge services____________$45.00 per call
  • Worldwide travel assistance____ $45.00 per call
  • Travel medical assistance______$700.00 per case
  • Emergency travel assistance (in travel status)____ **Consulting Fees Apply**  Plus any additional services fees (ex. exchange, refund, new reservation, etc.)

MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES:    

  • Rail reservation _____________________$35.00 domestic/$50.00 international per ticket
  • Paper ticket ________________________$25.00 per ticket 
  • Visa/Passport assistance _____________$50.00
