Carrie Reuning-Hummel is a long-time musician and Suzuki violin/viola teacher and teacher trainer with an MS degree in Communications from Ithaca College. She has taught in hundreds of workshops throughout the continental US as well as Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, and Israel. Carrie combines her passions for music, learning, communication, and change management into educational designs for classrooms, businesses, and for individuals and families. Her particular interests are in research of powerful learning experiences, helping people find their individual strengths, and in teamwork training. Gordon Rowland is Professor of Communications at Ithaca College, where he has taught since 1991. His varied teaching assignments and research interests include systems thinking, workplace learning and performance, social systems design, and design education. He holds degrees in educational technology, music theory, and music performance. He is an award-winning author of three books and nearly 50 book chapters and journal articles. For the past 12 years, he has led a series of studies on the nature of powerful learning experiences.
