Mini-Grant Program

The Partnerships for Sustainability Education offers mini-grants to it's partners and educators at Ithaca College to encourage the incorporation of sustainability concepts into courses or other student learning opportunities offered by the college.

The mini-grant program provides stipends of $1000 to compensate educators for developing new courses, course modules, or other experiences for students. Mini-grants are available to educators from any discipline and have been used in a variety of interesting and innovative ways.

Presented on the left is information about some of the projects that have been funded in the past, giving all interested educators a chance to explore others' work and start formulating their own ideas for the classroom.

Since 2003 Partnership for Sustainability Education has awarded over 50 mini-grants to faculty, staff and students at Ithaca College and their educational partners at EcoVillage of Ithaca.  Each recipient was awarded $1,000 and has presented the results of their work not only at the Finger Lakes Project Workshop, but at Campus Sustainability Day and Sustainability Cafe.
