Face to Facebook

Face to Facebook

Paolo Cirio and Alessandro Ludovico (Italy)

While hundreds of millions of Facebook users attempt to negotiate the corporation’s ever-changing ‘privacy settings’, Face to Facebook steals profile pictures, filters them with face-recognition software, sorts them by expression, and them posts them to dating web site called Lovely-Faces.

The piece extends the potential of social networking sites to generate ‘crowdsourced targeted’ connections. Face to Facebook is the third of The Hacking Monopolism Trilogy that began with Google Will Eat Itself and Amazon Noir.
