Jason Hamilton, Department of Biology, received a subcontract from the University of Illinois to perform activities related to a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture entitled"Effects of CO2 and Ozone on Herbivory Soybeans." The amount of the subcontract is $65,085. The project period is from 6/02 through 5/05.

Adrian Sherman, Office of International Programs, received year two of a two-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education entitled "Internationalizing the Pre-Health Career Curriculum." The amount of the award is $68,278; the two-year total is $134,278. The budget period is from 07/02 through 06/03; the project period is from 07/01 through 06/03.

Susan Allen-Gil, Department of Biology, in conjunction with EcoVillage at Ithaca received a grant from the National Science Foundation entitled "Applying Science to Sustainability." The amount of the award is $149,615. The project period is from 7/02 through 6/05.

John Bonaguro, School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, received a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services entitled "MCH Interdisciplinary UAP Leadership Training in New York." The amount of the award is $24,989; the project period is from 7/02 through 6/03.

Garry Brodhead, Office of the Provost, received a grant from the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation entitled "Woodrow Wilson Postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities: Caroline Schroeder." The amount of the award is $20,000; the project period is from 8/02 through 7/04.

Margaret Johnson, Library, received a grant from the State Education Department/Coordinated Collection Development Aid entitled "Library Collection Aid." The amount of the award is $10,605. The project period is from 7/02 through 6/03.

Thomas Bohn, Roy H. Park School of Communication, received a grant from the Park Foundation entitled "Park Scholars Class of 2007." The amount of the award is $2,980,203; the project period is from 8/03 through 5/07.

Vicki Cameron, Department of Biology, received received a supplement to a grant from the National Science Foundation entitled "Genetic Analysis of the Function of Cytochrome Oxidase Subunits Encoded on Mitochondrial DNA in Yeast." The amount of the award is $4,000; the project period is from 7/02 through 2/03.

The Office of Financial Aid, received a scholarship grant from The Lotte Kaliski Foundation for Gifted Children. The amount of the award is $1,150; the project period is from 8/02 through 7/03.

Melinda Cozzolino, Department Occupational Therapy, received a three-year grant from the Department of Health and Human Services/HRSA entitled "Center for Life Skills: An interdisciplinary model for student training." The amount of the award is $80,168; the three-year total is $263,938. The budget period is from 9/02 through 6/03; the project period is from 9/02 through 6/05.

The Office of Financial Aid, received scholarship money from the Independent College Fund of New York. The total amount of the awards is $17,405; the project period is from 8/02 through 5/03.

Marc Servetnick, Department of Biology, received a grant from the National Science Foundation entitled "Use of Transgenic Xenopus Embryos to Study Cell Specification in Eye Development." The amount of the award is $299,361; the project period is from 9/02 through 8/05.

Christopher Harper, Roy H. Park School of Communications, received a grant from the U. S. State Department entitled "Russian-American Journalism Institute." The amount of the award is $117,089; the project period is from 8/02 through 8/05.

John Bonaguro, School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, received a grant from the Tompkins County Family Court entitled "Ithaca Drug Treatment Court." The amount of the award is $6,400; the project period is from 6/02 through 5/03.

Pat Woodworth, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, received a grant from the National Science Foundation entitled "Scholarshp Program in Computer Science and Mathematics." The amount of the award is $213,000; the project period is from 10/02 through 9/06.

John Krout, Gerontology Institute, received a subcontract from the University of Rochester to perform activities related to a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services entitled "Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center." The amount of the subcontract is $50,071; the five-year total is $156,465. The budget period is from 7/02 through 6/03; the project period is from 7/00 through 6/05.

Vincent DeTuri, Department of Chemistry, received a grant from Sun Microsystems, Inc. entitled "Sun Equipment Matching Grant." The amount of the award is $16,338; the project period is from 10/02 through 12/02.

Deborah Nawoczenski, Department of Physical Therapy, received a grant from the Paralyzed Veterans of America/Spinal Cord Research Foundation entitled "A Targeted Intervention for Reducing Shoulder Pain and Improving Function in Persons with SCI." The amount of the award is $120,366; the project period is from 1/03 through 12/04.

Deborah King, Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences, transferred a grant from the IOC Medical Commission/Olympic Research on Sport Sciences/Pfizer entitled "Generation of Angular Momentum and Vertical Velocity in Quadruple Revolution Figure Skating Jumps." The amount of the transfer is $7,909; the project period is from 2/02 through 3/03.
