Cost for the entire Certificate in Applied Gerontology program is approximately $5,000 in 2007-08. This program is offered on a pay-as-you go basis, so that you pay for each class and workshop when you register. A deferred payment plan is available for courses offered in the fall and spring semesters. This plan allows students to pay tuition in installments; at least one-fourth of the tuition is paid at registration, and the balance is divided into three equal installments payable over the next three months. Students are responsible for making installment payments (by mail) directly to the bursar's office, in Job Hall, by the due dates.
Gerontology Certificate students receive a grant so that reduces the cost of part time study by 50%. The 2008-09 full tuition is $1,019 per credit hour; with the Gerontology Grant the tuition cost for Gerontology Certificate students is $510 per credit hour.

However an average of $100 per course for the three online courses used be used for estimating total costs. Books may be purchased online from the Ithaca College bookstore and books will be shipped to you, or you may find the books through other sources.
