Tuition

Gerontology certificate grants are available to all part-time students accepted into the gerontology certificate program. The certificate grants are valued at $587.50 per credit, apply only to courses
required for the gerontology certificate, and are renewable annually as long as a student continues
to make satisfactory progress toward completion of the program.

Example of costs for one 3-credit course (2011-2012)

Tuition $1,175.00 per credit x 3 credits, $3,525.00
Less gerontology certificate grant, $587.50 per credit x 3 credits, $1,762.50

Charge per course = $1,762.50

Note:  Satisfactory progress is defined as maintenance of a cumulative grade point average (GPA) 2.0 or above in certificate courses, and completion of no fewer than 3.0 credits during the academic year.
