Online Seminars in Gerontology and Geriatrics

To meet the training needs of professionals who desire distance learning options, the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute and Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center offered two online seminars in early 2010.  Taught by Ithaca College faculty members,  each two-week seminar will require approximately 10 hours time investment by the enrolled participant.  The seminars included readings and tools for professionals as well as discussion among participants and between participant and instructor.  The seminars are asynchronous, allowing participants to access the seminar 24/7 at times that work best for their schedule during the two week period.

No seminars will be offered inthe 2010 -2011 academic year, but future on-line seminars are planned.
