How Can You Help?

The $7.5 million challenge grant from the Atlantic Philanthropies is contingent upon our raising the remaining $7.5 million for the facility. Therefore, each gift to the first phase of construction of the athletics and events center means twice as much to the College. Please make your gift today.

Special naming opportunities are available. Please contact Katy Noonan, director of individual giving, for more information.

What Will Phase I Cost?

In what is sure to be a construction and fund-raising marathon, the first phase of the athletics and events center (including the field house, outdoor stadium, aquatics pavilion, and outdoor tennis courts) will take approximately two years to build and cost an estimated $64.5 million.

To date, we've raised $37.5 million in private gifts.

The College will contribute another $12 million for site preparation, which brings us within $15 million of our $64.5 million goal. It's quite an accomplishment, and we couldn't be more grateful for the loyalty and generosity of IC donors.

Coming into the Final Stretch

With $15 million left to raise for the first phase of construction, the Atlantic Philanthropies has agreed to bring us halfway to the finish line. If we can raise $7.5 million before February 29, 2010, the Atlantic Philanthropies will contribute the remaining $7.5 million. What this means is that each gift you make to the center's first construction phase will be worth twice as much to the College.

A Sprint to the Finish

It takes a great deal of vision to believe strongly enough in the future to make it a reality. Every marathon begins with an athlete taking the first step. Help us meet the Atlantic Philanthropies challenge by making your gift to the athletics and events center today.
