The Annual Fund Program
for Ithaca College

So much of what makes an IC education unique is supported by the Ithaca Fund. The visiting scholars and artists who ignite a student's passion, the internships that allow him or her to try a new career on for size, the research opportunities that open the mind to new ways of thinking, and the travel to academic conferences to share new-found discoveries all are made possible by the Ithaca Fund.

Matching Gifts

Ithaca faces a particular challenge when it comes to annual giving. Due to the College's recent growth, more than half of all IC alumni graduated within the past 20 years, and 30 percent graduated within the last decade. Knowing that younger alumni often have limited resources, an anonymous donor has agreed to match any gift made before May 31, 2009, by a young alumnus or alumna (someone who graduated within the past 10 years) with $75, up to a total $200,000. This means that even a $5 gift will result in $80 for the College.

How to Give

Making an unrestricted gift to the Ithaca Fund gives the College the opportunity to apply your contribution where it is needed most. Or you may assign your gift to a specific school or program. You may choose to make an outright gift or spread annual payments over as many as five years.
