Workshop Registration & Housing Form

Workshops
Workshops are open to both graduate degree students and nondegree students and may be taken for two graduate credits or on a noncredit basis. The cost to receive two graduate credits is $1,206. The fee for noncredit participation is $625.

Note that as of May 19, 2009, the Northeast Wind Conducting Symposium workshop is full. Anyone wishing to be put on a wait list for this workshop should contact the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies by email gps@ithaca.edu or phone 607-274-3143.

Campus Housing
Housing is available on campus from Sunday night through Friday night - June 28, 2009 to July 3, 2009. The standard residence hall has community bathrooms and showers (separated by gender) and is not climate controlled. Another option is a residence hall which has private bathrooms with showers and is climate controlled. All rooms include two twin-size beds, pillows, bed linen, towels, and one blanket per bed.

Housing Check-in
Workshop participants who make arrangements to stay in campus housing will pick up their room key from the summer housing office. Participants may check in no earlier than noon on Sunday, June 28. On the day their workshop begins they may check in anytime after 9:00 a.m. The summer housing office is open until 9:00 p.m. each evening. (Persons unable to check-in before 9:00 p.m. should contact the summer housing office beginning Monday, May 18, at 607-274-1637 to make special check-in arrangements.) For questions before the summer housing office opens on May 18, call 607-274-3313.

Housing Checkout
Workshop participants should consult the summer housing staff for proper checkout procedures.

Food Court
The Food Court, located on the first floor of Phillips Hall in the campus center, offers a wide variety of food at modest prices. During the summer, the Food Court is open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Refund Policy
Workshop registration fees will be refunded if a request is received by Graduate and Professional Studies no later than the end of the first day of the workshop. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after this date.
