If you are not from the Ithaca area you may want to review the graduate and professional housing list. It provides detailed information about housing and things you should be careful about when signing a lease.

For International students, it is essential that you finalize the place you stay in advance (a month before your arrival is recommended) even though you may not be able to sign the lease. This will not only reduce stress but will also help you get the best possible deal, as last minute housing is usually very expensive.
