Impact of the Global Economic Downturn on College & University Athletics Budgets Survey
Dear College/University Director of Athletics and Business Managers:
In April of 2009, President Barack Obama met in London, England with the Group of 20 to discuss the state of the world’s economy. Whether the conversation is happening in London or closer to home, we are all thinking through the implications of the impact the economy has had on our personal and professional lives.
To that end, we are seeking participation from college and university athletics directors in a study designed to assess the impact the economic crisis has had on athletics department budgets in the United States. The survey can be accessed through the link directly below and will take just a few minutes of your time. The deadline for completion is June 20, 2009. Should it be more convenient to have another member of your staff complete the survey, feel free to forward this Webpage to your designee. (Note: If the survey does not automatically open, please copy and paste the link into your browser.)

A report of the survey results is expected to be available in early July. If you wish to be sent a copy of the report, please send me an email at staurows@ithaca.edu and we will be happy to send the report when completed. In advance, thank you for your contribution to this important work.
Sincerely,
