ITHACA COLLEGE - Professor (promoted May, 2002); Associate Professor and Coordinator, Sport Media Program, February, 1996 - present. Assistant Professor, August, 1992 - February, 1996.
Teaching responsibilities include Social Aspects of Sport, and Gender Issues in Sport. I have also taught Introduction to Sport Management, Sport History, and Sports Information. Administrative responsibilities include advising 80 majors and minors, coordinating internship and fieldwork placements and supervising those placements.

WILLIAM SMITH COLLEGE - Director of Athletics, HOBART AND WILLIAM SMITH COLLEGES - Director of Physical Education and Recreation, August, 1987-July, 1992. Responsibilities included administration of a $600,000yearly budget, supervision of a 20 member professional staff and 100 member student and part-time staff,management of a $10 million athletic facility, long range and short range planning, fund raising with an average goal of $80,000 a year, and curriculum development.
As a director of athletics, served on numerous committees at all levels, including the Region 2 NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship Committee, ECAC Finance Council, and ECAC Women's Soccer Committee. Also served as vice-president of the Empire Athletic Association.
