Dr. Ellen Staurowsky Appointed to NCAA Scholarly Colloquium Advisory Board
Ellen Staurowsky, Professor and Graduate Chair in the Department of Sport Management and Media, has been appointed to a three-year term to serve on the NCAA Scholarly Colloquium Advisory Board. The purpose of the scholarly coloquium is to foster research on college sport and serve as a showcase for significant work in this area.
In addition, she has been named to the editorial board for the Journal of Intercollegiate Sport and presented a paper entitled, "The Impact of the Global Economic Downturn on NCAA College and University Athletic Budgets" at the January 2010 NCAA Convention.
