"Anthropology Through Film” is a 3-credit hour online course offered during Winter Session 2010 (January 11-22) that delves into visual anthropology.  The course specifically addresses (a) what films show (and do not show); (b) how Western culture uses images of non-Western peoples; and (c) how non-Western peoples use images of themselves.    Registration for this course begins Monday, November 2.  Please contact Dr. Sue-Je Gage at sgage@ithaca.edu for further information.
