Application Deadline
Applications will be accepted on a space-available basis.
2009 Participant Fee - Residential
$1,480 - includes instruction, recitals, activities (including Hangar Theater matinee), supervised housing, all meals from dinner on Wednesday, July 1 through lunch on Saturday, July 11, and two tickets for family members to the closing luncheon. 2010 residential fees TBD.
2009 Participant Fee - Commuter
$1,130 - includes same as for residential participant with the exception of housing and breakfasts. 2010 commuter fees TBD.
Optional day trip to Darien Lake: fee TBD.
Scholarships
A limited number of partial scholarships are available for 2009. To apply, enclose a letter with your application stating why you wish to be considered for financial aid along with an audio recording. To be eligible for scholarhip consideration, you must apply by May 1. (Requests for scholarships after this date will not be considered.)

1. Complete the application form.
2. Obtain a letter of recommendation from your private teacher.
3. Submit an audio recording (CD or DVD) of two pieces of contrasting character and style if you have not attended the institute before or if you are requesting a scholarship.
4. Provide payment of the $25 application fee (nonrefundable), by check or credit card.
Applications will be accepted on a space-available basis. You will be notified whether you have been selected by May 1. If you are accepted, you will be billed for the participant fee. We will also send you additional information regarding schedule, health care, items to bring, transportation from the Ithaca airport and bus station, etc.
Refunds
If you are accepted and cancel your application by June 12, a full refund, less the $25 application fee, will be given. Cancellations after that date will be considered on an individual basis, and refunds will be prorated.
