Congratulations! When you consider attending the Ithaca in Washington Program, you're making an important step in your studies. To take this next step you will need to have the following information ready for the application:

1. Contact information for two references who have agreed to act as your reference (at least one academic reference). They will be sent a link by our office to a reference survey on line.

2. Contact information for your parents/guardians and an emergency contact

3. A list of your awards and honors, and any prior internship experiences (with course number and credits earned)

4. Your GPA and credits earned (to date and current semester)

5. A personal statement which gives a brief summary of your academic and career goals and why an internship would be beneficial to your overall goals. Including what you hope to learn from the internship; what interests, background, course work and skills you bring that would be useful in an internship; and what your ideal internship would look like. [note: you may want to compose your statement elsewhere and cut/paste into the application]
