Registration as a commuter participant is on a space-available basis. For more information about the commuter option contact the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies.
Application
Upon submission of an online application, students applying for the three-week session will be mailed a teacher/counselor recommendation form, a request for a brief essay explaining your interest in the program, and a request for your high school transcript. (For your convenience, these supporting documents are available on the sidebar of this page under the heading of Featured Documents.)
Students with As and Bs need only submit their high school transcript. Likewise, students applying for the one-week session only need to submit a high school transcript.
Online applications will not be considered complete until all other supporting documentation has been submitted to the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies. (See Featured Documents on sidebar.)
Students not wishing to apply online should contact the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies, gps@ithaca.edu.
Early application is recommended. Admission decisions are made as applications are received. Early applicants have a greater likelihood of receiving their choice of courses. Applications must be postmarked no later than May 1, 2009. (Applications mailed after May 1 will be considered if space is available.)
Refund Policy
The $25 application fee is nonrefundable. Program refunds will be made if notice of cancellation is received by June 13. Cancellations after that date will be considered individually, and refunds will be partial.
Scholarships
Students who believe they will be eligible for financial aid when they apply to college are encouraged to apply for financial aid for the summer college program.
A limited number of need-based, partial-tuition scholarships are available for the three-week program.
Students should complete the online application, and then complete the financial aid request form.
