After graduating from Ithaca College with a degree in communication management and design, Tiffani-Amber Muller chose to continue her studies at IC, joining the M.S. Communications program and exploring the intersection of communications. and human resources.
“I love the faculty here, they really understand the topics at hand and make it one on one connection with student,” said Muller. “ I am able to choose my classes based on my interests in HR and apply it in a different way than most of my classmates.”
Muller is working with Dr. Patricia Zimmerman with the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF). Throughout the fall semester, she will be focusing on recruiting interns for FLEFF, marketing the film festival and writing blogs for FLEFF webpage. She will also be a team leader for the interns, training them on various aspects of the festival.
“Always working in group projects has taught me to be a motivating group leader. Through class activities, I would interview my peers and hire them which gave me amount of knowledge in helping with FLEFF. Being a team player in any situation will only excel your potential," Muller emphasizes. "Organizations are a team sport, and working effectively together can be successful to make organizations."
