Stacy Smulowitz, A.B.C. is President of Smulowitz Communications, a strategic communications consulting firm specializing in public relations, web site development and design, employee communication, marketing, special events and strategic planning.
Smulowitz is also a Ph.D. student in Communication at Rutgers University, NJ, where her studies focus on theory and strategy for assessing and promoting excellence in organizational leadership. She also holds an MS from Ithaca College, NY, in Corporate Communications and a BS from Wilkes University, PA, in Interpersonal & Organizational Communications with a Marketing minor.
Stacy is past president of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Lehigh Valley regional chapter.
She currently serves as adjunct faculty at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, PA where she teaches public relations and research methods.
Recent publications include Core Communication: A Guide to Organizational Assessment, Planning & Improvement available via http://iabcstore.com/eccommplanning/corecomm.htm , as well as "When Does Culture Matter, and To Whom?" a featured article in the Journal of Intercultural Communication Studies and "Evaluating the Impact of Organizational Self-Assessment in Higher Education: The Malcolm Baldrige/Excellence in Higher Education Framework," a featured article in the Leadership & Organization Development Journal .
Stacy is an avid fan of equestrian sports, football, decorating and gardening. She resides in Northeastern Pennsylvania with her husband John, daughter Victoria and son Alexander. |
