On Wednesday, March 29, photographer Jonathan Moller will speak about his work currently on display in the Handwerker Gallery. The lecture will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Textor 103.

In addition, Moller will hold a workshop, "The Blending of Activism and Art" at the Handwerker Gallery at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 30.

The talk and workshop are held in conjunction with "Refugees Even After Death: A Quest for Truth, Justice, and Reconciliation," a traveling photography exhibition that portrays the exhumations of clandestine cemeteries in Guatemala.

On Monday, February 13, "Paper Clips" will be shown in the Handwerker Gallery at 6:30 p.m. Whitwell Middle School in rural Tennessee is the setting for this documentary about an extraordinary experiment in Holocaust education.

On Wednesday, February 8, "Paragraph 175," will be shown in the Handwerker Gallery at 6:30 p.m. "Paragraph 175" is a documentary in which historian Klaus Muller interviews survivors of the Nazi persecution of homosexuals because of the German Penal Code of 1871, Paragraph 175.

Ted Phillips, deputy director of exhibitions at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, will speak about his personal and professional journey in the process of curating the Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals 1933-1945 exhibition on display at the Handwerker Gallery at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26. An opening reception will follow. This event is co-sponsored by the Handwerker Gallery, Hillel, and the LGBT Center.
