In response to to student requests, on Thursday, April 24, the Handwerker Gallery will host an open mic night. Bring your music, performance, or spoken-word piece.

At 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, the Handwerker Gallery will present a roundtable discussion on the exhibition, Running the Numbers: An American Self-Portrait, featuring Steve Skopik (Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts); Susan Allen-Gil (Department of Biology); Paige Davis '08; and JJ Ignotz '08.

On Tuesday, March 27, student-curator JJ Ignotz '08 will give a tour of the exhibition, Of the People: Inuit Sculpture from the Collection of Mary and Fred Widding, at 4:00 p.m.

On Thursday, March 20, at 6.30 p.m., there will be a screening of Nanook Revisited, followed by a discussion titled, "Perception: Aesthetics and Expectations," with student-curator R.B. Schlather '08.

The first Handwerker Gallery reading of the semester is coming up this Thursday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. Our featured readers will be the Department of Writing's Mary Beth O'Connor and senior Karen D'Apice. The theme for the evening will be "Like Life."
