Vacation, Medical, And Personal Leave
Entitlement for staff varies according to an employee's benefit group, average work hours per day, and length of service as specified in the employee handbook. The first accrual of vacation and medical leave is entered on the day the employee completes one month of service. Personal leave is entered on the date of hire. It is the responsibility of the supervisor to see that there are accurate accrual records for every employee who is eligible to accrue paid time-off. An employee's own record is available for his or her periodic review.

Ithaca College staff members receive the following paid holidays each year:
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving (2 days)
Winter Holiday Break
(5 - 7 days)
Spring Holiday
Memorial Day
