Ithaca College has a very pedestrian-friendly campus. Whether you are looking for a leisurely stroll on relatively flat land, or an aerobic workout with serious elevation changes, we've got it all mapped out for you.

Overview of Campus Walks

  • Click on a blue marker to get information on that specific segment of a walking route.

Information included is :

  • Road Name
  • Segment of Road (start and end points)
  • Length of Segment (in miles)
  • Elevation Change (overall elevation change across entire route from lowest to highest elevation)
  • Red path = Sidewalk routes with ramps and crosswalks
  • Blue path = Street / Shoulder walking with no sidewalk

Wide Campus Loop

Description : Walk the perimeter of the IC Campus.

Distance : 1.6 miles

Elevation Change : 79 feet overall

Peggy Ryan Williams Center to Campus Center (indoors and outdoors)

Description : Walk *indoors* from Peggy Ryan Williams Center Garden level Atrium to Campus Center lobby. Walk through Dillingham, Job, Friends, Textor, Muller and Phillips.
Distance : .33 miles

Elevation Change : 39 feet

Description : Walk *outside* from Peggy Ryan Williams Center Garden level atrium through GPS to exit, past fountain, and through quad straight to Campus Center.

Distance : .25 miles

Elevation Change : 39 feet
