Effective Meetings
Meetings are essential to communications, but how many meetings have you attended that have had poor or even counter-productive results? Meetings must be well-planned, organized, have the right people present, and end with everyone committed to the "next steps." A meeting is a deceptively complex process with many opportunities for problems. Incomplete preparation, interpersonal dynamics, poor leadership, and obstructive attendees can run meeting off course, despite the best intentions. This program will review common barriers to effective meetings and practical approaches to resolving them and is appropriate for both meeting facilitator and attendee.
Great Presentations
This workshop is designed to help you succeed in delivering effective presentations or when you must speak before a group of colleagues, peers or employees. Boost the impact and success rate of your presentation by learning ways to involve, excite and influence your audience as well as dealing with public speaking fears.
Coaching
This workshop is designed to help you develop powerful coaching skills through diagnostic questioning, wholehearted listening, effective feedback; and why they are critical to development.
Time Management
Are you a perfectionist? What's your urgency index? Awareness of how we spend our time is a critical component to being able to successfully manage one's time. In this workshop, participants assess current time use, learn practical ways of prioritizing, and identify helpful time management tips.
Self-Directed Leadership
Are you wondering how to build leadership capacity in your life? Improving your personal effectiveness in an ever-changing world is dependent on self awareness and the ability to develop effective, positive relationships, and taking responsibility for learning. In this interactive program participants will: Focus on developing self awareness; identify core values and a personal mission; identify one’s personal style and how it affects others; review a model for self-directed leadership development; gain exposure to research on why leaders derail; and develop a personal learning plan.
Change Management
Change is an event. The event happens and then what? The transition! The research shows that 75% of change efforts fail! Why? Because managing change requires both an attention to the structural components of a new design as well as an attention to the human dynamics of the transition. The human response to change is almost always overlooked during change implementation and leaders are often frustrated and surprised by the emotional reactions of affected employees. This workshop introduces the stages of change, how to recognize the signs in each stage, and how to respond/help yourself in each stage.
"Give Em The Pickle!" Customer Service
This workshop focuses on tapping the creative ideas of participants in order to deliver exceptional customer service. Based on the experience of Bob Ferrell, a successful businessman, this interactive workshop engages and energizes participants to look at new ways of delighting the customer!
Humor and Stress
Stress can affect the quality of relationships, work performance, academic achievement and athletic accomplishments for anyone. This workshop is designed specifically for anyone who wants to laugh, learn, relax, and let go of negative stress. You will learn strategies to include positive humor when relationships get tense, how to bring out your sense of humor and how to introduce respectful humor in the workplace.
Resiliency and Change
How do you react to unexpected difficulties and change? Healthy, resilient people use skills that help them move forward and learn valuable lessons from rough experiences. They bounce back! Everyone can improve their resiliency and be more successful in adapting to difficult and challenging life experiences. This program will help you identify the resiliency skills that you already have, along with new ideas for helping yourself and others. This awareness can help you recover from challenging experiences stronger, better and wiser.
