The most you are allowed to contribute during 2011 is $16,500. However, if you will be 50 years old or older by December 31, 2011, you can contribute up to an extra $5,500 for a total maximum contribution of $22,000. In addition, if you have been at the College for 15 or more years, you may be eligible to contribute even more.
