Doreen Hettich-Atkins, coordinator for special services and programs, won first place in the Area 10 Evaluation Contest and Jane Ray, human resources specialist, took first place in the International Speech contest this past Saturday at Lifelong in Ithaca.
I am pleased to announce that the Peggy Ryan Williams Center, located to the north of Dillingham Center, is officially open for business. The Williams Center houses a number of different offices, including the president and senior administration, admission, human resources, enrollment planning, and the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies.
Doreen Hettich-Atkins, coordinator for special services and programs, and Jane Ray, human resources specialist, will be competing in the Area 10 Toastmaster Contest this Saturday, March 21. The contest takes place at 9:00 a.m. at Lifelong, 119 West Court Street, Ithaca.
The wait will soon be over!
In conjunction with the Office of Human Resources Work/Life Initiative, Weight Watchers At Work meetings are being planned for Tuesdays at noon in the brand new Peggy Ryan Williams Center.
We hope to have everything ready to begin in mid-April following the Easter holiday.
