Reminder for September 8th Work/Life Lunch-and-Learn:"Helping Thosein Distress: AnOverview of Pathways"
Pathways is a mental health crisis prevention and intervention program offered by the I.C. Counseling and Psychological Services.
Pathways workshops teach participants to:
- Identify a potential mental health crisis.
- Initiate a conversation with someone at risk.
- Ask directly about suicidal thoughts.
- Make referrals to appropriate resources.
The goal of Pathways is to reduce the incidence of crises by building confidence and skills in reaching out to those in distress.
Come learn about Pathways from LeBron Rankins in this overview presentation. The session will be held from Noon - 1:00pm in PRW G-52. Bring your lunch and bring a friend! Light snacks and refreshments provided.
