Q: Where can I find available jobs?

A: All available openings are posted on our employment website: www.icjobs.org. You may search all positions or narrow the search by category: staff/faculty, keyword, job title, or department.

Q: Where can I find out about what benefits Ithaca College offers?

A: Information about Ithaca College benefits can be found at www.ithaca.edu/hr/benefits.

Q: How do I apply for a position?

A: Once you've located a position on the employment website, click on "apply for this position" under the position title. You will be guided through simple application questions and instructed to upload requested documents.

Q: What if I don't have all requested information available when I apply?

A: You may add information or upload your documents by logging back on to your application materials, however, once your application has begun to be reviewed, you will need to contact the Office of Recruitment: (607)274-1207 or employment@ithaca.edu to update your application materials.

Q: How do I know my application has been received?

A: At the end of the application process, you will receive a confirmation number for your submitted application.

Q: What should I do if I'm having problems submitting my application or uploading my documents?

A: Our website is designed to work with (system/doc requirements). Most issues are the result of not meeting these requirements.

Q: How long does it take to process my application?

A: As soon as you finish the online application and arrive at the confirmation screen, your application is available for review by the position search committee. Some positions take longer to fill than others. If a position is still posted on the employment website, the hiring supervisor is still accepting applications.

Q: Who should I address my cover letter to?

A: All applicants are asked to address their cover letters "Dear Search Committee" as several individuals will review each applicant's materials.

Q: How does my application reach the appropriate people?

A: Online submission makes your application materials immediately available to the hiring supervisor and search committee members appropriate to the job posted.

Q: Can I submit my resume by mail or email?

A: Ithaca College asks that all applications be made through the online employment site: www.icjobs.org.

Q: How can I track the status of my application?

A: You can check the status of your application by logging on to the online employment site: www.icjobs.org. Your status will read: "In Process" while your materials are under review.

A: Jobs are added and removed daily, throughout the day.

A: If you can view a job posting, it is still accepting applications.
