New Employees

YOUR FIRST DAY AT IC

  • You will attend a New Hire Session on or before your first day of work. Sessions are held in the Administration Annex (Building 20A on the campus map, located next to Roy H. Park Hall).
  • You will be asked to complete various new hire forms.  In compliance with regulations resulting from the Immigration Reform and Control Act you will need to personally present documentation for proof of identity and employment eligibility (Form I-9).  Please be prepared to bring acceptable documentation to your new hire session.
  • You will be issued a Temporary ID card at your first day new hire session that will enable you to obtain your parking permit and permanent ID later that same day.
  • If you plan to drive a vehicle to work on your first day, please park in the Visitor Lot until you obtain a faculty/staff parking permit from Parking/Traffic Services (Public Safety/General Services, Building 27 on the campus map).
  • Bring your temporary ID card to the ID Office (located in the Terrace 1 Dining Hall area). There you will have your picture taken and receive your permanent ID card.  It will take only minutes for the new ID to be issued to you.
  • Additional materials are available online :
